Pier Lorenzo Vangelisti, also known as Pietro Evangelisti, was a Florentine violin maker in the early 18th century. Though he was a contemporary of Antonio Stradivari, his instruments usually followed the pattern of another Florentine maker, Giovanni Battista Gabrielli. We offer this historical instrument from his later period, with a certificate from Christopher Reuning. Available for trial by appointment in our showroom.
