The second Celebrating Women Luthiers International Exhibit begins with an Open House and Maker Q&A. Join us to see the beautiful violins, violas, cellos, and bows made by women around the world and get to know the makers in attendance. No ticket required.

This spring Potter Violins is pleased to open the second Celebrating Women Luthiers International Exhibit from May 3-11, 2024. The exhibit will continue by traveling to Reuning & Son Violins June 3-9 in NY, and Sapp Violins July 13-19 in Batavia, IL.

This exhibit will highlight the often overlooked craft and artistry of women luthiers from all over the world.

Potter Violins will highlight these instruments with special events, such as an “Instrument and Bow Tasting” and a chamber concert, all designed to showcase the dazzling violins, violas, cellos, and bows all hand made in the tradition of great makers.

Join us in celebrating the amazing contributions women are making to lutherie worldwide.
