The Jay Haide Modèle artistique à l’ancienne family of instruments was developed over many years of collaboration between makers Jay Ifshin and Haide Lin, who studied the fine varnish techniques of master European luthiers. The varnish is a new formulation, carefully applied and beautifully antiqued giving each instrument the patina of age. They are as beautiful tonally as they are visually having been designed for the advanced student who needs an instrument that will complement and enhance their artistic style.
