Tetsuo Matsuda studied at the Cremona Violin Making School in Cremona, Italy. He has won many medals for his craftsmanship, including silver medals at the Antonio Stradivari International Violin Makers competition, and gold medals at the Violin Society of America violin-making competition. Matsuda currently makes instruments in his workshop in Barrington, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. His instruments are highly valued by professional players, and this viola is available for trial via shipment or viewing in our showroom.
