In Conversation with Daniel Heifetz: 30th Anniversary Lecture Series

We’re kicking off our 30th Anniversary Lecture Series with someone whose career embodies everything we believe about music.
Daniel Heifetz: world-renowned violinist, master teacher, and an artist who has spent 30+ years thinking deeply about what it means to communicate through music.
His message? Don’t try to imitate the greats. The path to artistry isn’t about copying Yo-Yo Ma or Itzhak Perlman. It’s about becoming so comfortable in your own skin that your instrument becomes a breathing part of your body, and your unique voice can finally emerge.
This is the conversation we’re bringing to Takoma Park as we kick off our 30th Anniversary Lecture Series.
