Ada Quaranta studied violin making at the Antonio Stradivari International Violin Making School in Cremona, Italy. From 1992 to 1999, she worked as a restorer for shops including J.F. Schmitt in Lyon, France, and Geigenbau Machold in Bremen, Germany. She worked closely with Roger G. Hargrave in Meyenburg, Germany where she perfected her craft and created reproductions of famous classical Italian instruments. In 2001, Ada returned to Italy and opened her own workshop. This violin, made in 2021, has a round and lush sound. Available for trial via shipment or viewing in our showroom.
