This violin was handcrafted in Coruña, Spain, in 2018 by luthier Andrea Castañeda Flores.
She started learning violin making at a school in Queretaro, México, where she received a bachelor in stringed musical instrument construction. In 2011, she worked and search in the National Music Museum in South Dakota, under supervision of John Kostler. In October-November of 2012, she worked in Classical Restoration at the David Kerr Violin Shop. She’s worked in a number of workshops in cities like Mexico City and Trondheim, and her workshop is currently in Coruña in the Galicia region of northwest Spain.
