This violin is by Jules Grandjon, Mirecourt c. 1860.
After working in Amsterdam and Paris, Jules Grandjon returned to his birthplace of Mirecourt around 1850 to establish a successful workshop. He won a number of medals throughout his life, and this violin is a fine example of his work, accompanied by a certificate from VATELOT-RAMPAL. This instrument is available for trial in our showroom or via shipping.
