Patrizio Orippi was born in Parma, Italy in 1970. When he was only 15, he joined the International School of Violin Making in Cremona, where he studied with Vincenzo Bissolotti, Massimo Negroni, and Stefano Conia. In 1997, Orippi worked in T. Tebbi’s workshop and studied with Stefano Gironi. In 2012, he started his own workshop in Cremona and makes violins, violas, and cellos inspired by the Cremonese violinmaking masters. This viola is available for trial via shipment or viewing in our showroom.
