Alfredo Primavera was born in 1954 and comes from a family of violin makers. His grandfather Giuseppe founded the House of Primavera in Philadelphia where Alfredo began studying violin making at the age of thirteen with his father Adolfo. In 1972, Alfredo moved to Cremona to study at the International Violin Making School with Pietro Sgarabotto and Gio Batta Morassi. In 1977, Alfredo Primavera opened a workshop in Cremona, Italy. Instruments with this label are crafted by Alfredo and overseen by Virgilio. This cello is available for trial via shipment or viewing in our showroom.
