This viola was made by Giuseppe Arrè in Cremona in 2012.
Arrè studied at the International Violin Making School of Parma where he completed his diploma under the direction of Renato Scrollavezza.

As President of the Consorzio Liutai “Antonio Stradivari” Cremona, his work is highly regarded internationally. This violin, patterned after Guarneri, features a beautiful golden brown varnish that complements its exceptional tone.
This Enrico Ceruti violin, crafted in Cremona around 1865, comes with a Warren certificate of authenticity.
Enrico Ceruti (1808–1883) was a distinguished Italian luthier known for his exceptional craftsmanship. He earned silver medals at the London Exhibitions of 1851 and 1870, as well as a gold medal at the Cremona Exhibition in 1863. Over his lifetime, he produced approximately 370 instruments, solidifying his legacy in the world of violin making.
